Know Before You Book — A Little Off the Beaten Path+

Red Roof Retreat is a rural mountain cabin on a wooded lot, reached by a gravel road. Peaceful and private — a few things worth knowing before you reserve.

  • Cell service is very limited. Wi-Fi is provided for calls, messaging, and streaming.
  • A small private road runs near the property. Set well back and surrounded by trees, but you may occasionally hear a passing vehicle.
  • Route 58 is nearby. You may hear some highway traffic, including trucks on the grade.
  • Highway construction is currently underway. Occasional daytime noise is possible.

If you're looking for trees, fresh air, and a slower pace — but don't require complete silence or full cell coverage — you'll feel right at home here.

How many guests does it sleep and what are the sleeping arrangements?+
Red Roof Retreat sleeps 6 across 3 bedrooms — a king in the primary on the main floor, two fulls in the second bedroom, and a queen in the third. 2 full bathrooms.
Is it good for families and pets?+
Yes on both. Dogs are welcome — dog bed, towels, and waste bags are provided. The yard is not fenced, so leashes are recommended outdoors. For families with young children, please note there are stairs and a pond on the property that is not fenced off. Adult supervision outdoors is recommended at all times.
What are the check-in times and minimum stay?+
Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. We require a 2-night minimum for most stays — a 3-night minimum may apply on peak summer and fall foliage weekends. Early or late times available on request.
Is there Wi-Fi?+
Yes — Fiber internet is provided and reliable throughout the property. Cell service in this area is very limited, so Wi-Fi calling is recommended for calls and texts. Plan accordingly before you arrive.
How many cars can the property accommodate?+
The property can comfortably accommodate 3 cars.
What is the cancellation policy?+
